Position Overview The Inside Sales Account Manager identifies customer needs and business opportunities, directing them to the right resources while building long-term relationships. This role uses strong sales skills and exceptional service to create value through proactive account management that meets customers' business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-2 years of professional sales experience, preferably in industrial chemicals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and sell at all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and data-driven.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce.com experience.
  • Advanced consultative selling skills.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of maintenance accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct 25-30 outbound calls daily to engage customers and prospects.
  • Record interactions and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce.com preferred).
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with business goals. Implement pricing strategies and manage assigned sales budgets ($2-5 million).
  • Identify and close new business opportunities through cold calling and market research.
  • Support prospecting campaigns into new markets and applications.
  • Partner with Account Managers to coordinate customer site visits and audits.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities and forecasts.
