About The Position

The Electrical Supplies Inside Product Specialist supports and promotes Electrical Supplies lines in support of company growth and strategic objectives.

Requirements

Maintain a valid driver’s license.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or other related field, OR 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in the electrical distribution field or working with electrical products.

Nice To Haves

Experience or background with electrical supplies is strongly preferred.
Working experience within business systems (Solar highly preferred).
Proficiency with customer relationship management software (CRM)

Responsibilities

Provide pre-sales support to customers including review of customer project specifications and documents, preparing and presenting bills of materials, selecting and recommending components to solve application requirements.
Validate and provide manufacturing pricing information for Commodities Quotations and Customer Service teams.
Process non-stock items.
Prepare and conduct product and technology-based demos, presentations, and seminars for customers to promote the products.
Design, manage, and deliver technical training to internal and external customers in support of product line.
Utilize the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool to log and manage customer opportunities, tasks, customer interactions, and support responses from customers in assigned region.
Execute product strategy for new and emerging products within designated product lines.
Participate in sales planning meetings with Account Managers and Product Manager as requested.
