About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside/Outside Sales Representative to join a growing wholesale liquidation and surplus merchandise organization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with online merchants, wholesale distributors, secondary-market retailers, resellers, and independent store owners. The ideal candidate will have prior experience selling liquidation, overstock, closeout, customer return, or surplus merchandise and be comfortable building new business while managing existing customer accounts. This position requires a highly outgoing individual with excellent communication skills, strong customer relationship abilities, and a results-driven approach to sales.

Requirements

  • Experience selling liquidation, surplus, overstock, closeout, customer return, or wholesale merchandise required
  • Experience selling to online merchants, secondary-market retailers, wholesale distributors, resellers, or independent stores
  • Inside and/or outside sales experience
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sales and customer service mindset
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate inventory opportunities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
  • Ability to travel locally for customer meetings and business development activities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with online sellers, wholesale buyers, distributors, resellers, and retail store owners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through phone calls, email outreach, networking, and in-person visits
  • Manage existing customer accounts and grow sales volume within assigned territories
  • Present available inventory and merchandise opportunities to prospective and existing customers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and sales agreements
  • Generate leads and build a pipeline of qualified customers
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding inventory availability and promotions
  • Travel locally to visit customers and develop business relationships as needed
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up support

Benefits
