About The Position

Galleher Industries is seeking a Hybrid Inside Outside Sales Representative for their Kaufman, TX facility. This role involves a blend of inside sales responsibilities, including quoting, order management, and customer support via phone and email, as well as local travel to visit accounts, strengthen relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a high volume of customer interactions and is eager to engage with clients face-to-face. Success will be measured by account support, issue resolution, and the capture of additional business from existing customers.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of inside sales, outside sales, or customer service experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Strong phone and email communication skills, with proven ability to manage multiple customer interactions daily.
  • Comfort and credibility in face-to-face selling situations, including plant floor and shop environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to calculate costs, apply markups, and process quotes accurately.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel within the region.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the truck body, trailer, lumber, or metal component industries is a plus.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed and able to manage time across desk work and field work without close supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration across sales, operations, and support functions.
  • Results-oriented, with initiative to pursue additional opportunities during downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate quotes and processing sales orders.
  • Proactively follow up on leads, open quotes, and customer requests to drive order conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP systems, including customer information, pipeline activity, and order history.
  • Partner with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and resolve customer issues quickly.
  • Coordinate with vendors and transportation providers to secure competitive pricing and support customer programs.
  • Assist with walk-in customers, returns, and RMA processing as needed.
  • Support the AR team in resolving billing and payment issues with customers.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support shared OEM and distributor accounts.
  • Plan and execute customer visits within the assigned territory as business needs dictate.
  • Serve as a local point of contact for assigned accounts in the region, working alongside the sales team on larger and shared accounts.
  • Identify and pursue additional business among truck body builders, trailer manufacturers, fabricators, and distributors in the region.
  • Conduct on-site discovery at customer facilities to understand production processes, material usage, and upcoming programs, then convert that insight into quoted opportunities.
  • Bring back competitive intelligence on pricing, lead times, and vendor activity so we can respond quickly.
  • Represent Galleher at regional trade shows and industry events as needed.
  • Maintain a documented call plan and report on visit outcomes, next steps, and pipeline movement.
  • Work with leadership to set territory priorities and align field activity with inventory and fabrication capabilities in Kaufman.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of Galleher Industries.
