Supports small sales market client accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, and identifying, developing, and delivering products and solutions aligned with their business objectives. Assists in identifying and driving growth opportunities within existing accounts and converting business from competitors through regular communication and feedback, actively supporting upsell and cross-sell initiatives to increase revenue. Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely execution of client requests and projects, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across departments. Tracks data and account performance metrics within CRM or other systems, manages the client pipeline of opportunities and leads, ensures data is current, and generates reports to provide insights into account performance and growth potential. The Inside Account Manager manages assigned accounts in the region and will engage and support the day-to-day business, projects, and marketing and when needed, engage, and assist end-users. The Account Manager manages incoming leads from various sources, identifies potential opportunities, and develops new business. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional who thrives on helping clients succeed while driving business results!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 1-2 years in related role, providing day-to-day support to team and customers.
  • Strong time management, prioritizations, and organization skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and customers at all levels.
  • Customer Service Focus: Experience developing relationships by listening, understanding, and providing solutions that result in high customer satisfaction.
  • Must reside in Chicagoland region.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • All roles, including remote positions, require an in-person interview as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that support their business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business through proactive client engagement, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requests and projects, delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage and maintain account data, sales pipelines, and performance metrics within CRM systems, providing insights and reporting to support growth.
  • Work in partnership with Marketing and business units to ensure campaigns are relevant and useful to the target audience.
  • Manage assigned accounts in the region and will engage and support the day-to-day business, projects, and marketing and when needed, engage, and assist end-users.
