About The Position

RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, printing, and supply chain solutions. This role involves operating high-speed machines that insert printed matter into envelopes or folders. The operator will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and overseeing the efficient operation of these machines. Additionally, the role includes training and supporting team members and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment
Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment
Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent
Job requires the ability to exert up to 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 - 25 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

Operate high speed machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopes
Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently
Oversee and make adjustments as necessary
Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Ability to work overtime as necessary
