About The Position
RRD is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. This role is for a 3rd shift Inserter Operator, working from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a shift differential. The operator will be responsible for running machines that insert and fold printed matter, such as letters or booklets, into folders or envelopes. This includes setting up and adjusting the machine for efficient operation and overseeing output, making necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- Requires excellent knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment
- Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment
Responsibilities
- Operate machines that insert/fold printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelops
- Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently
- Oversee output and make adjustments as necessary
