Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to understand and follow QC procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good math skills.
  • Knowledge of First Class and Marketing Mail preparation standards.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate the equipment at maximum efficiency while meeting the production schedule.
  • Maintain the established Quality Control procedures.
  • Operates automated inserters
  • Assures that all Quality Control procedures are followed.
  • Maintains minimum production standards of completed product.
  • Coordinates with the different departments for the scheduling of all projects.
  • Sort and prepare unmetered mail as necessary, report quality problems to the Production Manager.
  • Operate postage machine and accounting terminal accurately.
  • Record any spoilage or mistakes on the account tape for correction by billing.
  • Perform quality checks on finished mail before release to MLOCR.
  • Process mail efficiently to meet MLOCR cut-off time.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
