About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient Registered Nurse specializing in Vascular Access (PICC) at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Required certification for respective nursing departments.
- Bi-annual CPR and ACLS certification.
- Successful completion of the UW Health PICC certification program within 6 months.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of recent medical surgical or related nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide vascular access nursing care, including PICC line insertion and management.
- Work 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
