About The Position
This is a part-time, 75% FTE position for an Inpatient RN in Pediatrics at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital. The schedule involves night shifts, alternating between three 12-hour shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the next week. The role is located in northern Illinois.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS and NRP by end of orientation.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Work three 12-hour night shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the next week, potentially alternating.
- Adhere to Basic Life Support/CPR certification requirements.
- Obtain ACLS and NRP certification by the end of orientation.
- Pursue specialty certification in the area of concentration.
