About The Position

This is a part-time, 75% FTE position for an Inpatient RN in Pediatrics at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital. The schedule involves night shifts, alternating between three 12-hour shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the next. Additional compensation may include shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as overtime and on-call pay. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
ACLS and NRP by the end of orientation.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.

Nice To Haves

Specialty certification in area of concentration.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to pediatric patients.
Work three 12-hour night shifts one week and two 12-hour shifts the next week, potentially alternating.
Participate in overtime and on-call duties as required.
Utilize Basic Life Support/CPR, ACLS, and NRP certifications in patient care.
Engage in shared governance structure.
