About The Position

This is a part-time (50% FTE) Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The schedule involves two 10-hour shifts per week, with department hours from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and variable start times. The role may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and includes shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
• ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty certification in area of concentration.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room.
