About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN in the Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working three 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable start times. The department operates from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm or until the last patient is discharged. The position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence.

Nice To Haves

911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting.
911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience.
Specialty certification in area of concentration.
9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities
