About The Position
This is a full-time, 90% FTE position for an Inpatient RN in Observation. The role involves working evening/night shifts, with three 12-hour shifts per week (1900-0730), and includes a weekend/holiday rotation. The position is located at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in northern Illinois. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence.
- No minimum experience required for general RN role.
- For 911 Call Center Triage Only: 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting.
Nice To Haves
- 911 Call Center Triage Only: Community nursing experience.
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
- 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.
