About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN Observation role at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The work schedule is 90% FTE, with 3-12 hour shifts including rotating weekends and holidays from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Specialty certification in area of concentration.
ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in an inpatient observation setting.
