About The Position
This position involves working as an Inpatient RN Observation, with a work schedule of 90% FTE, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. The shifts are from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, and include rotating weekends and holidays. The role is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
- ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).
Responsibilities
