About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Inpatient Observation Unit. The work schedule is per diem with a varied schedule, including evening and night shifts. The role is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in northern Illinois. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Required certification for respective nursing departments.
Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Specialty certification in area of concentration.
ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the Inpatient Observation Unit.
Work evening/night shifts.
Adhere to bi-annual CPR certification requirements.
Obtain specialty certification in the area of concentration (preferred).
Obtain ACLS certification within two years of hire for the 9th Floor Only (preferred).
