About The Position

This is a 100% FTE, full-time Inpatient RN position for GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role involves day/evening shifts with four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, and requires on-call shifts during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Additional compensation components include shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
• Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
• Specialty certification in area of concentration.
• ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

• Perform GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures as an Inpatient RN.
• Work day/evening shifts, 4-10 hour shifts Monday through Friday.
• Participate in on-call shifts during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide patient care within the scope of RN licensure.
