About The Position

This is a full-time, 100% FTE position for an Inpatient RN specializing in GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures. The role involves working day/evening shifts with four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday. On-call shifts are required during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in northern Illinois.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Specialty certification in area of concentration.
ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

Perform GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures as an Inpatient RN.
Work day/evening shifts, 4- 10 Hour Shifts Monday through Friday.
Participate in on-call shifts during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
