About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) Float who will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role involves working two 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The position offers competitive pay with significant shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation.

Responsibilities
- Float between different inpatient units as needed.
- Provide direct patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor patient conditions and document observations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies.
