About The Position

The Inpatient RN position is a PRN role, working 7p-7a. Initially, the role requires part-time or full-time hours for orientation, with a minimum commitment of 96 hours per month thereafter, with more hours available if desired. The first week of orientation involves Monday - Wednesday, 8-hour shifts, with Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts being ideal. This position offers a flat rate of pay and qualifies for shift differentials. The inpatient registered nurse role is identified as a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma or multi-state RN license.
• Current BLS.
• Completion of ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients, families and health care professionals.
• Provide leadership to non-licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.
