One Behavioral offers a continuum of psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults. One Behavioral is seeking a PRN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Behavioral Health to join our inpatient team in the Houston area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced psychiatric providers as well as clinicians looking for flexible PRN work in a collaborative, physician-led behavioral health environment. This PRN position supports inpatient psychiatric services. Providers will treat patients across the lifespan, with a strong focus on children and adolescents. The role offers flexible scheduling based on facility and provider needs, and the opportunity to work with an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team. Collaboration with supervising physicians and peer providers is a key aspect of the role. Ongoing opportunities for professional development and continuing education are provided in a supportive environment focused on provider growth and high-quality patient care. Weekend call coverage may be required based on scheduling and clinical needs.
Requirements
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active Texas license in good standing required at the time of hire
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Nice To Haves
- Behavioral health or psychiatric experience preferred
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
