About The Position

Join Nebraska Medicine’s inpatient rehab team as a casual Physical Therapist, providing care across a diverse acute care environment. The role evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe mobility, functional independence, and successful discharge planning. This casual/PRN position requires a minimum scheduling commitment of two weekend shifts per month and one holiday weekend. Additional weekday shifts may be available based on department needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team orientation.
• Strong computer and office equipment skills.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Nebraska or hold a current compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from an American Heart Association (AHA)-endorsed program; this requirement applies to new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later.
• Minimum scheduling commitment of two weekend shifts per month and one holiday weekend.
