About The Position

ProHealth Care is hiring a Tier 1 Inpatient Pharmacy Technician at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The technician performs basic pharmaceutical duties under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists and contributes to patient care as part of the healthcare team. The role requires proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations, computer and telephone use, and accurate, independent work.

This is a 1.0 FTE role committing to 30 hours per week, typically worked as three 10.5-hour shifts per week, with a mixture of first- and second-shift work. Shifts are 0600–1630, 1230–2300, and 1330–2400. The schedule includes an every-third-weekend rotation (one weekend per month) and an every-third-holiday rotation (two holidays per year).

Requirements

• Proficiency in basic mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Computer and telephone skills.
• Ability to perform accurate, independent work.
• Ability to interact well with other healthcare personnel as part of the team.
• Demonstrated competence in stock ordering and control, drug product selection, nonsterile drug preparation, controlled substance handling, and pharmacy automated systems.
