About The Position

Seeking a state-certified pharmacy technician to join our inpatient team in Florence, SC on a PRN basis. Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist(s), the pharmacy technician assists in all pharmacy operations' functions related to: preparation & distribution of all doses of medication; maintenance of drug inventories (e.g., re-stocking automated dispensing cabinets throughout the hospital, drug packaging/re-packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re-stock, etc); and, completion of patients' records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits etc). Requirements

  • State Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program required
  • High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • college-level courses desirable but not required
  • two or more years of experience in a hospital or health system
