About The Position

Are you a nationally certified Pharmacy Technician looking for a new opportunity? Our dynamic specialty pharmacy team is growing and is seeking patient - centered and experienced techs to join their team! This position is under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, performs all of the level I and II retail technician functions. This position is also responsible for managing billing and reconciliation, assumes primary responsibility for a specific task or function, and completes administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of pharmacy experience
• State Bd Pharm Registration
• Pharmacy Tech Certification

Nice To Haves

• Specialty Pharmacy Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Handles all Retail Pharmacy Technician I and II responsibilities, to include clerical duties, data entry, cash handling & reconciliation, inventory management, advanced compounding and orientation/training of new team members.
• Manages patient & internal billing and reconciliation.
• Assumes primary responsibility for a specific task, function or area of specialty which could include but is not limited to purchasing, automation, shipping, or lead technician for a specific area of workflow.
• Performs administrative responsibilities that include, but are not limited to responding to insurance audits, supply management and bank deposits.
