Inpatient Pharmacist
About The Position
This role involves collaborating with providers to offer clinical recommendations for patient medication therapies, clinically reviewing, assessing, and verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. The Inpatient Pharmacist will oversee pharmacy operations and the medication use process, including order verification, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and dispensing. Additionally, the role includes providing drug information and education to patients as needed and maintaining a high-reliability culture by critically evaluating medication processes for opportunities, keeping patient safety at the forefront of all decision-making.
Requirements
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
Nice To Haves
- PGY1 residency completion and/or prior hospital experience is strongly preferred
