Inpatient Pharmacist (Travel Assignment) - IP 26-05344
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 26-week travel assignment at a pediatric-focused acute care facility and Level II trauma center. This role begins on a night shift schedule and will transition to day shifts later in the assignment to provide extended coverage. The position involves a 7 On / 7 Off block schedule, initially on nights, with a transition to day shifts expected. The assignment extends to support coverage through early 2027. Every other weekend is required. This role does not involve on-call responsibilities or floating between units. 48-hour work schedules are not approved.
Requirements
- Active Texas Pharmacist License required
- Prior inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills required

Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Prepare and dispense medications safely in an inpatient setting
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient medication therapy and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation
