Inpatient Pharmacist, (Full Time, Exempt)
About The Position

The Inpatient Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care by identifying, assessing, and resolving medication problems. The pharmacist supplies drug information to physicians, staff, and families or caregivers; processes prescription orders and maintains appropriate records; and oversees the preparation, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals. The position also supervises pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel. The role requires accuracy under deadline pressure and the ability to adapt to changing situations, work with a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and handle conflict. The pharmacist performs other assigned duties, follows applicable licensing-board and agency requirements, and complies with Benefis Health System policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Montana.
- Pharm.D. degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Anticoagulation therapy management certification from an ACPE-accredited course and/or certification as an anticoagulation provider from ASHP when applicable.
- Ability to meet deadlines accurately and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and manage conflict.
Responsibilities
