About The Position
Join our growing Neurology team as an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner providing exceptional care alongside four experienced Neurologists in a collaborative hospital-based practice. This is a 100% inpatient Neurology practice where you will collaborate with and support 4 board-certified Neurology Physicians. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions and participate in multidisciplinary inpatient care teams. This is an opportunity to work in a well-established and highly respected Neurology program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree of Nursing required
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
Nice To Haves
- Neurology experience preferred
- Stroke care experience strongly preferred
