About The Position

We are also part of AdventHealth, a unified health system with over 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in diverse markets throughout 9 states. Join our growing Neurology team as an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner providing exceptional care alongside four experienced Neurologists in a collaborative hospital-based practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Nice To Haves

• Neurology experience preferred
• Experience in stroke care is preferred
• Stroke care experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• 100% inpatient Neurology practice
• Collaborate with and support 4 board-certified Neurology Physicians
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
• Participate in multidisciplinary inpatient care teams
