About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is expanding its team of oncologists and hematologists in hospital settings throughout Florida. This full-time inpatient opportunity is for a board-certified/eligible hematologist and oncologist to practice at contracted hospitals in Lake Mary, Florida. The role involves a team-based setting with a multidisciplinary approach, focusing on inpatient consults at contracted community-based area hospitals. Responsibilities include managing both malignant cancers and benign hematology diagnoses, with an opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials. Fellows are welcome to apply. Lake Mary, Florida, located 18 miles north of Orlando, offers a blend of small-town charm and upscale convenience, known for its tree-lined streets, walkable downtown, and scenic lakes, providing ample opportunities for recreation and relaxation.

Requirements

• Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
• BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
• Background and drug screens
• Must receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption
• Must pass drug testing (Medical Marijuana cards are not recognized)
