About The Position
River Point Behavioral Health is seeking an Inpatient General Psychiatrist to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position with a Monday-Friday schedule, offering day hours onsite. The role involves managing an average daily caseload of 18 patients, with opportunities for additional earnings through a productivity bonus. The psychiatrist will work within an inpatient adult setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including BH Techs, BH RNs, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR. There is also an opportunity for ECT work, with training available if interested.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
