About The Position
River Point Behavioral Health is seeking an Inpatient General Psychiatrist to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position with a Monday-Friday schedule, onsite, day hours. The role involves a 1:4 shared call schedule and an expectation of an 18 daily caseload, with opportunities to earn extra through a productivity bonus. The practice setting is inpatient adult daily caseload, supported by a multidisciplinary team including BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR. There is also an opportunity for ECT work if interested, with training available.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
Nice To Haves
- ECT opportunity as well if interested. Training can be offered.
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
