This Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist position is at Aurora St. Lukes South Shore, which is part of Advocate Health. The role of the Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist involves overseeing pharmaceutical care, designing and monitoring medication therapy regimens, providing patient and caregiver counseling, reviewing medication orders, participating in medical emergencies, supporting medication safety and quality improvement, managing formulary adherence, and preparing and dispensing medications. Additionally, the pharmacist will serve as a preceptor and mentor for pharmacy students, residents, and other healthcare learners, and direct the work of pharmacy support team members. The position requires demonstrating knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate patient care in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
