About The Position
Brentwood Hospital provides an inpatient mental health program for children 4-12 in need of around-the-clock access to care and supervision in a comfortable and compassionate environment. This is a full-time employed position with opportunities for additional earnings through extra call options and a Productivity Bonus Plan. There is also a faculty opportunity for residents and fellows available once board certified.
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program.
- Louisiana medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for geriatric/senior adult patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
