About The Position

The INNOVATIONS FABRICATOR II is a detail-oriented and hands-on individual that will support our Innovations team in building and preparing test samples for product development and validation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that samples are produced accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with testing requirements and timelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This role is based out of the Calhoun, GA Office and is onsite and will be reporting to the Innovations Fabricator Manager. FieldTurf is part of Tarkett Sports. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 1–3 months of related experience in fabrication, construction, or similar hands‑on environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Solid teamwork and communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Excel, data entry systems, email, etc.)
  • Must be able to work standing or walking for long periods of time and set up materials and samples.
  • Employees must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Comfort working in a hands‑on fabrication and testing environment
  • Travel to testing sites as required to set up samples and equipment (10%-15%)
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble test samples for the Innovations testing team
  • Support product testing and trials to ensure timely, accurate execution
  • Transport, position, and install samples at designated testing locations
  • Follow installation procedures and ensure all samples meet established standards
  • Collaborate with the Innovations team to understand testing requirements and specifications
  • Assist in developing and refining testing processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations
