Innovation Technology Consultant
About The Position
The Innovation Technology Consultant will conduct thorough scans for specific technology categories to identify promising partners and innovations. This includes both proactive scanning based on specific needs or strategic requests and reactive evaluations of unsolicited opportunities. Focused areas will be on assessing, managing, and implementing external technologies or startups into our organization. The scope of the position includes working directly with decision makers at the ownership and C-suite levels in order to identify and recommend opportunities for investment, create business plans and manage external relationships; liaise between clinical and technical divisions to integrate new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough scans for specific technology categories to identify promising partners and innovations.
- Assess, manage, and implement external technologies or startups into our organization.
- Provide leadership in discovering cutting-edge solutions, fostering co-development opportunities, and creating new internal innovation pathways.
- Collaborate with our finance team to structure development or partnership contracts.
- Ensure all future intellectual property is attributed appropriately, either solely to our organization or in a joint manner.
- Lead the integration of new technologies into the organization.
- Measure pilot data, prepare presentations, and ensure effective implementation and utilization.
- Work collaboratively with our information services department for integration.
- Work closely with employees and clinicians to understand their challenges and needs.
- Partner with clinician champions to implement new technologies seamlessly and effectively.
- Provide insights into potential disruptive technologies, keeping the organization ahead of market trends and competition.
