About The Position

Contribute to the creation and development of innovative golf club concepts, constructions, and features. Apply computational design methodologies to evaluate and refine engineering solutions. Assist with topology optimization, lattice design, and lightweighting studies including nTop workflows. Translate engineering concepts into 3D parametric CAD models. Perform engineering analyses related to performance, durability, acoustics, and cost. Support prototype development with suppliers and internal teams. Develop and maintain design automation tools, scripts, and digital workflows. Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, and suppliers to develop and validate prototypes. Participate in product testing, validation activities, and intellectual property documentation. Research emerging materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes relevant to golf products. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and ideation of new technologies across critical product platforms.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of engineering, product development, or innovation experience; golf industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Design, or related discipline required.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling; NX experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CAD automation and Python scripting.
  • Experience using Python for design automation, data analysis, or workflow support.
  • Familiarity with computational design and algorithmic modeling techniques.
  • Exposure to topology optimization, lattice structures, or lightweight design tools such as nTop.
  • Understanding of parametric modeling principles and design intent.
  • Ability to learn and support development of engineering tools and automated workflows.
  • Experience supporting simulation-driven design and engineering analysis.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM).
  • Knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Finite Element Analysis experience preferred; Altair experience is a plus.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for golf, innovation, and product development.
