This is a great opportunity for a fitness professional, OTA, or PTA to apply their expertise in a manufacturing setting while working a convenient 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM schedule and making a real impact every day. In collaboration with client's employee healthcare team, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field, or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
- 2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.
- Ability to work a B shift (1:30pm-10:00pm, M-F)
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Personal Training Certification.
- Understanding of Biomechanics.
- Understanding of Occupational Safety.
- Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).
Responsibilities
- Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
- Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.
- Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
- Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.
- Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
