About The Position

The 2nd shift Injection GAPP Trainer trains new and recently moved associates using the approved company training method, and trains existing associates who move through job rotation. The trainer supports production, quality, and safety practices while associates learn their roles, and may operate machinery when needed to maintain production. The role is performed in a manufacturing environment and may require overtime.

Responsibilities

• Train associates on correct production, quality, and safety processes using MTNA operating procedures.
• Shadow associates in training to ensure they follow correct processes.
• Contain and inspect all parts produced by associates in training.
• Respond immediately to associate training calls and assist with issues involving parts or processes.
• Complete required paperwork, including training checklists, containment forms, refresh/retrain records, audit sheets, shift information sheets, and training documentation sheets.
• Accurately update the department training matrix weekly.
• Ensure operation standards are accurate and update them for temporary operating procedures or process changes.
• Follow up regularly with new hires.
• Immediately report issues with a trainee’s ability to the team leader.
• Operate machinery when needed to maintain production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
