This role focuses on ensuring quality product manufacturing, including sorting, packing, and assembling moulded components. Requirements

High school or equivalent.
One year’s experience in a manufacturing or related environment preferred.
Experience with the properties and behaviors of a variety of plastic materials.
Knowledge of proper operation of manufacturing and material handling equipment.
Follows procedures with meticulous attention to detail and suggests continuous improvements.
Fosters a supportive environment through teamwork, respect, and communication.
Requires wearing steel-toed shoes or boots to prevent injuries.
Hearing protection is required when working in or moving through all Injection Moulding areas.

Responsibilities

Efficient operation of machinery, including recycling equipment.
Ensure continuous material feed and proper setup for production runs.
Prepare work areas for upcoming production changes and conduct necessary trials.
Sorting, assembling, and packaging components with accurate labeling.
Operating sonic welding machines to assemble and weld components, adhering to safety protocols.
Managing the disposal of defective products and reporting quality issues to supervisors.
Developing expertise in machine operation, data processing, and material handling.
Enhancing skills in troubleshooting machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Working well independently or as part of a team.
Operating confidently in a fast-paced environment, following all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, applicable legislation, regulations, statutes, and departmental policies/procedures/practices and operational guidelines.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are in accordance with job responsibilities and/or necessary departmental or corporate objectives.
