About The Position

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Auburn, RI area for a local individual with 3+ years’ experience as an Injection Molding Technician with a background in plastics manufacturing. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Tuition Assistance, PTO and other outstanding perks. The schedule is 4x10; Monday-Thursday with possible OT on Fridays.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Injection Molding experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience adhering to Safety standards, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and ISO9001 systems

Nice To Haves

• Plastics: Low-High Polypropylenes, Polycarbonates, Polymers, Flex PVC, etc. experience
• Experience installing dies safely on machines to support production
• Experience performing changes on mold to support toolroom
• Experience managing raw material inventory and preparing materials for processing by blending, mixing, drying, etc.

Responsibilities

• Starting/setting up Injection Molding machines
• Performing job changeovers as needed (teardown previous, set up next job)
• Installing dies safely on machines to support production

• Managing raw material inventory
• Preparing materials for processing by blending, mixing, drying, etc.
• Adhering to Safety standards, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and ISO9001 systems
