Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience in mold setup, machine setup, or plastic injection molding operations.
- Knowledge of plastic resin processing parameters and injection molding processes.
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making process adjustments.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Technical Degree in Mechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers on plastic injection molding machines according to production schedules.
- Set up and adjust machine process parameters to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
- Execute machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment set-ups prior to production start-up.
- Verify proper operation of molds, cooling systems, and production equipment.
- Perform production start-ups and make process adjustments to meet quality specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot process deviations as needed.
- Identify and resolve issues related to molds, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Perform material and color changeovers in accordance with production requirements.
- Complete documentation related to mold changes, process parameters, and production activities.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments to optimize processes and minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process efficiency.
