About The Position

The student operator is responsible for the proper functioning of the injection molding presses and the robots and/or automation systems attached to them. The work includes packaging finished products, checking product quality and cleanliness, reporting any non‑conformities, restocking label magazines, and stopping or restarting presses and robots as needed.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in secondary or post-secondary education, or accepted into a post-secondary program for Fall 2026
  • Possess good manual dexterity and good physical condition
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (day/night)
  • Ability to work quickly and remain standing for extended periods
  • Be attentive to hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Have strong attention to detail and good teamwork skills

Benefits

  • Wage: $19.18/hour + night premium + weekend premium
  • Rotating 4/4 schedule (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)
