Injection Molding Operator - 2nd Shift

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in operating injection molding machines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Advanced decoupling skills.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and quality control principles.
- Ability to operate and adjust basic machine controls.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Basic math skills for measurements and production calculations.
- Good understanding of basic control functions and mechanical ability.

Responsibilities
- Operate injection molding machines in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
- Perform mold changes and basic machine setups under guidance of technical staff.
- Record production data such as quantities, downtime, and scrap.
- Identify and communicate equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervisors or maintenance teams.
- Responsible for packaging finished goods.
- Accurately mix materials and read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
- Set machine controls regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
- Conduct first article inspections against the work order for accuracy and adjust as necessary.
- Maintain the flow and quality of parts produced.
- Clean and maintain molding machines and equipment for optimal operation, following all safety protocols.
- Responsible for proper removal and handling of parts.
- Install molds onto machines according to work order specifications, using clamps, bolts, and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S and safety guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and report safety hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
