About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and hard-working 1st shift Injection Molding Operator to join our growing team at Blum USA. This is a great opportunity to link your career with an established international company.

2 years of relevant experience preferably working with Injection Molding machines in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Candidate must pass a job specific Physical Capacity Profile test
Constant sitting or standing
Walks twists, turns, stoops or bends frequently
Squats/Kneels occasionally
Reaches frequently
Performs overhead work occasionally
Drives occasionally
Lifts/Carries 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 5 feet, over 40 times per shift
Pushes/Pulls 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 25 feet, over 40 times per shift
Use both hands to move objects for 6-8 hours per day
Use a simple grasp to pick up objects with both hands for 6-8 hours per day
Use both hands to finely manipulate objects for 4-6 hours per day

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting the technician with set ups & changeovers
Clean in-process containers, support equipment & maintain general housekeeping in area
Select & load correct raw materials in surge bins & keep color hoppers full
Transfer materials from warehouse to department
Perform incoming material inspection & documentation
Perform quality checks & documentation with KOMEG & maintain quality standards throughout all department processes
Will work 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am-3pm
Works overtime including weekends

Benefits

Hourly position with overtime
Base rate is $22.55 per hour
Additional $1.00 for off shift - 3rd shift
