We have an opportunity for an Injection Molding Maintenance Specialist to join our Moorpark, CA, team. You will use your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will utilize preventative maintenance processes on all production equipment to maintain minimal interruptions to production. In addition, you will work with limited supervision and assist with the training and development of Junior Techs.

Requirements

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons.
Strong electrical background, including AC/DC electricity, high-voltage panel work, motors, drives, and controls.
Experience with PLCs, automation controls, mechatronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Hands-on experience with manual machining, CNC machining, or a machinist apprenticeship.
Welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings.
Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop technicians and operators.
Full ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, twist at the waist, bend, lift (up to 50 pounds), and reach with hands and arms.
Steel-toed footwear is required.
High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

Electrician's license preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons and related production equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, PLCs, and automation controls.
Complete machining, fabrication, and welding projects to support equipment repairs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings, and AutoCAD prints.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability, safety, and uptime.
Train and mentor maintenance personnel and machine operators on troubleshooting, equipment operation, and maintenance best practices.
