About The Position

This role involves operating injection molding machines in a plant environment. Key responsibilities include loading materials, cleaning machines, and handling finished parts. The position requires the ability to perform various duties such as taking parts from machines, running machines at optimal cycles, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting other operators. Additionally, the role includes performing secondary operations, inspecting parts for visual quality, packing acceptable parts, counting and sealing boxes, and completing paperwork accurately. There may be instances where work in equal or lower classifications is required.

Requirements

Must be physically capable of performing the job.
Usual activities include walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time; bending, stooping, lifting and carrying boxes or other items, up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Load material or assist in loading material for all machines when required.
Clean the entire exterior of any machine.
Handle parts as produced.
Take parts from machine.
Run all machines at best possible cycle.
Keep area around machines clean.
Relieve operators when required.
Perform all secondary operations whenever required.
Responsible for inspecting the visual quality of finished parts whenever required.
Pack acceptable parts as required.
Count parts make and seal boxes, sweep up when and where required.
Accurately complete paperwork as required.
From time to time will be required to perform work in equal or lower classifications.
