Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) or technical training, plus 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Hands-on mastery with hand, power, and specialty tools; comfortable with diagnostic equipment.
  • Working knowledge of automated industrial machinery and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with injection molding equipment and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and work orders.
  • Strong problem-solver who communicates issues and fixes clearly with the team.
  • Capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and working with limited supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

  • Keep injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment reliable through planned preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Diagnose and correct issues across mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Reference manuals, schematics, diagrams, sketches, engineering specs, and work orders to plan and complete work.
  • Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and identify part wear or drift.
  • Assemble, install, align, adjust, and calibrate mechanical and electrical machinery.
  • Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and replace parts and assemblies as needed.
  • Champion safety policies and contribute to a clean, orderly workplace.
  • Engage in plant-wide Safety, Housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Guide junior maintenance colleagues with practical tips and troubleshooting methods.
  • Handle other duties as assigned to support uninterrupted operations.
